Each of the four components of the 2009 Project carries a price tag of some $100,000 and bids have been solicited and received by the New Netherland Institute for all thereby locking in a total expenditure of about $400,000 .A blue ribbon commission, headed by the Dutch Consul General in New York, has been established and will lead the fundraising effort.

Donors $1,000 or more will be recognized in all four components of NNI’s 2009 Project even if gifts are designated for one particular segment. Donors will also receive periodic invitations to receptions at various events highlighting aspects of the 2009 Project. Other benefits will accrue depending on the size of the gift.
