Members make the programs of the New Netherland Institute and the New Netherland Research Center possible. They also receive special invitations to the Institute's Annual Conference and other events, where they can meet others interested in New Netherland and its legacy, and a free subscription to the English language quarterly newsletter De Nieu Nederlanse Marcurius, edited by NNRC Director Dr. Charles Gehring. 

Memberships are available in four types:

Individual - Dues are $50/year

Student - Dues are $35/year

Household - Dues are $75/year

Organization - Dues are $100/year

The New Netherland Institute is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions (dues and donations) are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
