Mapmaker: Johannes van Keulen

One of the earliest acquirable charts to focus on Maine and Northern New England. Depths, hazards, and other navigation information are given, along with a very decorative cartouche. The Van Keulen firm was the leading Dutch chart maker for two centuries.
